Togther Into The Night – the Web Week Night

We're nearly there – in exactly two weeks time the re:publica will open its doors. While it's still full steam ahead for planning and organising, we'd like to take a moment and share some details on the evening events during the re:publica week. Mark down 6 May because we are presenting: the very first Web Week Night!

The Web Week Night is the uniting element of the Berlin Web Week. Visitors to re:publica, MEDIA CONVENTION Berlin and NEXT Berlin come together to party. Anyone else looking to celebrate with exciting people is whole heartedly invited too. In cooperation with XJazz and Reeperbahn Festival, we will be presenting young bands and DJs on two main stages.

From 21:00, Stage 1 will host Heidi Mortenson, DJ team karmafauna and the Xjazz-Festival presented band “Chris Adams & Trip 68” to create a relaxed lounge atmosphere for get-togethers and hang-outs, while Stage 2 is all about getting your groove and dance on.

Berlin-based and German-speaking HipHop band U3000 (presented by Reeperbahn Festival) will kick-off the Web Week Night at 22:00, followed by Polish electro-pop by BOKKA while the Berlin-based, Bulgarian singer DENA will preform her own DIY R'n'B. During each set, the DJ duo Greg Haines & Bon Sacamano will be hitting-up the decks.

Of course, we're also looking after your well-being: the re:staurant, various drinks stands and bars will be open and providing you with beer, cocktails and much more.

re:publica, MEDIA CONVENTION Berlin and NEXT Berlin ticket holders have free access. Everyone else pays 10€ admission at the door. Access over 18 years.
